Lincolns Legacy has made the decision to return to the beginning of Lincolns journey, to follow along the path of Lincoln or any other critically ill child that has to make the painstaking trip to the Lady Cilento Hospital in Brisbane.

 

Our first point of call was at St Vincent's Hospital in Toowoomba where we spent the night in the Paediatric Ward. These wonderful, caring nurses devoted their time and attention to myself and my newborn little baby. If not for their quick thinking, Lincoln may not have made it to Brisbane and onto the life-saving ECMO machine.

 

On the 7th of July, we hosted our very first Twilight Races with all proceeds going to our local St Vincent's Hospital Children's Ward.

 

Immediately following our short stay at St Vincent's, Lincoln required transport to the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital PICU in Brisbane. Without the availability of Lifeflight, children and babies such as Lincoln who urgently required critical care and attention, would not survive.

 

To show our appreciation, we are hosting a GAME SHOW style trivia night in support of Lifeflight. We have managed to secure QUIZ EXPRESS who operates mainly throughout Brisbane. They have kindly offered to travel to Toowoomba to support our cause!
